Oh to be a feeler

The world is heavy enough as it is

We all carry too much

Too much that we know are not ours to carry

But we do it anyway

Because we’re human. That’s what humans do.

And if you’re a feeler

And if you’re someone who feels deeply

Who carries the load and wants to carry the load of others

Not out of merit

Not out of pride

But because at some point in your life,

someone didn’t carry the load for you when you needed someone to pick up the overspill

So if you’re a feeler

Your heart knows no other option

But to be a carrier too

You know that not everyone operates like this

Not everyone wants someone to carry the load for them

Not everyone needs your feels

Just know that a feeler hates nothing more than adding to your load

A feeler hates nothing more than thinking they’ve inflicted pain or caused upset

Even if your load has nothing to do with the feeler

The feeler can jump to conclusion

The feeler is learning

The feeler carries

The feeler feels
